We Thank Our Staff

The Catholic Youth Club is run By a volunteer council and a team of volunteer  parents, assistants and youths. We thank them for  contributing their time, passion, unique talents, knowledge and understanding in assisting the Catholic Youth Club and our Community.

The Catholic Youth Club is dependant on the time offered by our volunteer staff and the financial contributions of private and corporate sponsors.

 

Membership

All youths and adults wishing to participate in our Youth Club and our Youth Centre must register with the Catholic Youth Club (CYC).

1.     Each new member to the Youth Club must be Catholic and  will  provide a proof of baptismal certificate and parish name when registering for membership. All registrants will receive a photo ID prior to being placed in our program, as proof of membership.  All registrants and Parent/Guardian must read the Disclaimer and waiver and accept and sign it in order to register.

    Registration cost for one year
Jan – Dec starting in 2009 Youths 6-17 yrs of age $20.00

Lost cards must be
replaced at a cost of $5.00

2.     Only Catholic Youth Club Photo ID Cards will be valid.  Registration is valid for one year commencing January 1st and ending December 31st. Any registration within the year will not be pro-rated. Youths participating in activities in the centre cannot be under 5 years of age or exceed 17 years of age unless as a volunteer

       All volunteers must have their CYC Photo ID with them to enter the Youth Centre. Non members are not allowed unless approved and escorted by CYC COUNCIL MEMBER

3.     A screening process will occur for all volunteers and council members. Club Rules will be added from time to time. check the web site.

4.    NO PARENT/GUARDIAN IS ALLOWED PAST CHECK IN/OUT POINT when dropping of registered Youth. PLEASE ABIDE BY THIS RULE FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL YOUTHS

5.     Volunteers are required to obtain a Photo ID pass with registration.
Parents (optional) registration is optional at $5.00.

6.    All members will be placed on a team and  will represent that  House Team for one year (Jan. to Dec.).

       There will be 4 Teams: Team Faith, Team Hope, Team Spirit, Team Courage. Each House team will have their own  team colour.

        Each member will accumulate points for his/her team by participating both individually and group activities. The team with the most points at the end of year will win and receive a prize.
Points can also be taken off due to misconduct or obeying the Code of Conduct.
